Barbara Łuczkowiak Holder of a diploma in painting in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She undertook postgraduate studies in 1980 in the Faculty of Painting in the Department of Fabric at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in Professor Wojciech Sadley’s studio where she currently runs the Experimental Fabric Studio. In 2012 she was nominated to the position of associate professor. Between 2012–2013 she chaired the Department of Fabric in the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She paints and creates textile art. She authored more than a dozen individual exhibitions and dozens of group ones at home and abroad. Holds a grant awarded by the Gallery Birhenhof in Neumünster.
